New in This Blog

There are several new features in this blog which I have been working-on (asides from my wedding preparations). The first important issue is I upgraded WordPress powering this blog in to wordpress-1.5-strayhorn, which in my opinion is better than 1.2.1, the last version I use.

Then I change the template .. again, the old template is a rather boring template for me (thanks to me who modified them), this new template is taken and slight modified from Theron Parlin, a clean and simple template and displayed really nice at Firefox 1.0.1.

The old wp-photos plugin by Alex King, doesn’t work quite well in this version of WP but to change into another photo plugin I have to remanage my photo database and that will take a lot of time, so I just modified the link from thumbnail into opening a new window and start a slide presentation like picture gallery.

When talk about archives, I use Smart Archives Plugin By Justin, a simple plugin which to me has a lot of use, you could find the plugin in its project page, thanks Justin!. You could view my Archives Page by clicking archives link on top of this page.

At..last, gravatar! in comments, quick, get your own!, since I am the only one giving comments with gravatar :D, I also inserted gravatar registration plugin as you can see under insert comment box.

Well then, I guess that is it.

While in Banda Aceh, not only doing volunteeraly works, we also have the change to taste Acehneese Traditional Food (asides from the coffees). These are the pictures from when we decided to go outside the house for dinner, then we went to Kafe Desember, a pretty famoust reataurant I guess. Too bad most of the team member are outside the city, some in Sabang, some still doing works at Lamno and Teunom. So there we were, especially me waiting to have my Matang Satay to be prepared, which took a rather long time :(

Why Drinking Lots of Coffee is Good?

This is not about health or medical point of view, this is mostly about a small conversation between me and Tadjuddin (Mapala Leuser – Universitas Syah Kuala) in a coffee shop just this afternoon. He is a friend which I met at 1997 during PPKAN VI (Puncak Penghijauan dan Konservasi Alam Nasional) in Balik Papan, East Kalimantan, where I represented Mountaineering Club in DKI Jakarta, and he represented Mountaineering Club in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (used to be called Daerah Istimewa Aceh).
