Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
There’s a land that I heard of, once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come trueSomeday I’ll wish upon a star,
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops,
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find meSomewhere over the rainbow, bluebirds fly
Bird fly over the rainbow, why then, oh why can’t I
If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow,
Why, oh why can’t I?
Just heard it while finished watching You’ve Got Mail (Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan), a rather boring-standard-kind-of romantic movies, but we (me and nadin) loves those kind though… Sounds like a perfect place doesn’t it?
The song doesn’t really have a direct connection with the movie I guess, but the melodies are no doubt brighten the endings. I realize this, but I don’t really care about it. Lots of that kind of situation happens near by, for example; my wife, Nadin Asmarandjani, really hates to cries while watching romantic or sad movies, because she couldn’t see the movie while busy erasing tears from her eyes, but she did it after all (the watching sad movies part) — infact she loves them.

Like I was saying, we often does thing that in our consciousness we don’t really like, but damn we do need them..
